Day 2: Degrowth Deep Dives

Now that we’re all familiar with the challenge to growth, what does it really mean to intentionally downscale the global economy?

What are the implications of degrowth for the sustainability movement, the economy, political systems, modes of production, community, and culture? How does the degrowth movement weave into other movements in North America for environmental and social justice?

For the second day of DeSchool 2025, we will be at the historic South Shore Cultural Center (SSCC) at 7059 S. South Shore Dr.
